These candle sticks and candle accessories are made out of industrial plumbing parts.  I love the way the beauty of these practical objects is enhanced and turned into something new and totally wonderful.   This is a store I definitely want to buy from.  Oh, and they donate a portion of their profits to animal charities.  You can’t beat that.

My Latest Artism

Oh Hai,

My latest piece of artism is a nostalgic ode to childrenes games of the past. I have taken wooden game pieces from Monopoly, Scrabble, and Stratego games along with Lego pieces and dice and repurposed them into a cute charm bracelet. I think it makes for a rather nice piece that might bring back some pleasant childhood memories for the wearer. I am already planning another along the same line.

New to Blogging

Well, hello everyone.  If you can’t already tell I know very little about blogging.  Mostly I want to connect with other TBTL 10′s all over the country and promote my artism (jewelry making).  A little good oldfashioned capitalism to supplement my teacher’s salary.  I hope you will take a look at my store.  My latest piece is a repurposed (i will explain later) disney charm bracelet to which I have added beaded dangles.
